knit till it is 5 in. then start to decease-knit two together abbreviation-k2tog.
till you have 5 stitches left then cast off by cutting a long 5 in. tail and then slide the yarn and a needle though the 5 stitches and pull tightly and then tie a knot.

cast on 30-70 stitches
make it as log as you want it or make it 16 in.
cast off like you would for a hat

you can make 2 sides and sew together or make 1 big piece then fold over and sew three sides together
